Fantom: the first Spotlight project on Orion Pool

Orion Pool V2 is now live, marking the next stage of Orion. Fantom is the first Spotlight project to join Orion Pool, and Today is Fantom Day on Orion Terminal.

The FTM/USDT pool is now live. Users can start providing liquidity and  trading FTM on Orion Terminal across multiple liquidity sources (centralized and decentralized) for the best price every time. Users can now:

• Access FTM in one place across centralized + decentralized liquidity sources
• Provide liquidity for the FTM/USDT pool and earn 0.3% pools fees
• Earn farming rewards in ORN on top of pool fees
• No account, no KYC: trade and farm FTM directly from your wallet
• Trade FTM at the best price across CEX + DEX
• Future access to advanced features like margin and lending
• LPs joining today will be entered to win one of 10 ORN x FTM NFTs, enabling:
  • Early access to the upcoming Fantom chain integration on Orion Terminal 
  • Early access to the new Fantom wallet ahead of public release
    
    

The pool follows a recent partnership with Fantom as the pilot partner for Orion Wallet Swap SDK, enabling users to access endless cross-chain liquidity directly from their Fantom wallet. Via the FTM Pool, Fantom wallet users will also be able to provide liquidity to Orion Pool directly from their Fantom wallet. Any project can create a pool now, with a review process in place initially to manage the on-boarding of new assets. We will remove this vetting process in time to allow any project or individual to instantly create a pool, with regular auditing and reviews in place to ensure the safety of Orion Terminal users. While any project can list on Orion Pool now, Spotlight Projects will be chosen on a limited basis through partnerships and community voting. ‘Spotlight’ placements will initially be reserved for core partners, but will be opened up to other pools and projects based on applications. Apply here.
